After 6 months of dedication and effort, we have finally written out this recap starting from April to October 2022. It's nice to catch up on what we have achieved previously, considering the team is developing without a stop.

6 months is not usually considered as a lengthy period of time in the real world. It feels like a blink of an eye for the 9-5 working adult. But it sure means a lot for a toddler, long enough for him to start babbling.

Here in Hot Cross, things move even faster. People always say time in Web 3.0 flies much faster than the real world. We could not agree more.

Here is what we have achieved in the half year.

Development updates

With the whatever-build-it-and-ship kind of style, Hot Cross team is constantly seeking targets and adjusting our to-do list. The pattern of working on things based on a priority manner works well for us, it helps us avoid dogmatism and build a Work-life-balanced life in this space full of chaos.

We launched the very Hot Cross User Dashboard, a tool that facilitates viewing and managing your ecosystem activity across all Hot Cross products. It's really beneficial to people who do not keep in mind so well about the assets they staked or delegated. With all the information and market trends in the decentralized Web 3.0 world, it can be confusing to manage things in perfect order. Glad that we are able to make things easier for you.

DAO has always been the point of interest to the Web 3 native, and so does our Bosses. We decided that we want to give it a try. After research and development of the DAO thesis, We combined theory with practice, completed the NFT DAO Badge Minter, and had it audited by Beosin. Even though it is not yet revealed to the public, we are on the track of studying and perfecting it. It will come up and strike an important event one day.

Having seen the great popularity of Cross Bosses, we realized how NFT can emphasize the sense of belonging. We are a multi-chain Web 3 project. What about The Omnichain NFT? We act on the idea immediately. It goes without saying, the alphas are in the audit.

Building as a multi-chain project is never easy, there are times when you struggle to keep the nuance balance between different blockchains or leverage opportunities everywhere. We value the community's opinion and the market focus. We follow where the money goes. And thus we decided to remove our liquidity entirely from Biswap and deployed every single PancakeSwap farm as a vault on Cross Yield, granting Bosses full access to the Yield Farming dreamland.

Speaking of the DAO and community decision making I mentioned above, we dived a bit further into this topic and worked on an elementary voting portal. Various protocol-related proposals will be posted here in the coming weeks/months. Join us and follow along as we move into a more community-led decision-making structure!

Cross Yield is meant to be offering unlimited yield opportunities to Bosses, and the expansion into new reputable blockchains is surely a no brainer. We are pleased to have integrated Aurora into Cross Yield.

As a practical toolbox for end users. We need to make sure that the product is as comprehensive as possible. Hence we launched Cross Send on Aurora and BitTorrent. The batch transfer within Hot Cross on 9 blockchains is now made possible.

We can admit that launching products on different blockchains would also require the #HOTCROSS to be in circulation for future development strategies. So it is natural for the Cross Bridge to tag along and support Aurora and BitTorrent. Feel free to swap #HOTCROSS between 5 blockchains now (BNB chain, Ethereum, Avalanche, Aurora, and BitTorrent)

One tree does not make a forest, Web 3 projects work the same way. We need to constantly build our relationships with partners, find out what can be done together and thus become stronger.

Frontier, RankerDAO, SaloPlayer,ProjectSeed, Anonverse, and UnoRe surely are satisfied with the Cross Pool service and each launched their pools with us. Bringing a lot of new users to start learning and using the product suite. A certain percentage of the pools is reserved for the beloved Bosses, showing the level of importance we attach to the Hot Cross community.
AMA and Twitter spaces are held with several partners: SaloPlayer, Bittrex Global, OpenLeverage, UnoRe, DeBridges, Anonverse, Encentive, BitStore, LiquidCollectibles, Li.Fi. Opinions are shared, thoughts are exchanged, answers are replied, rewards are distributed, everyone's happy.
We set up a $CBi pool with rewards to encourage users to liquidate their Cross Bosses and strengthen their liquidity. That's probably why the Cross Bosses NFT collection figures the highest NFTi volume on @LiqCollectibles in June.
We really like ApeSwap from the start, they are a bunch of cool guys and girls working on stuff. That's why we said yes without hesitation when they first offered us the JungleBills cooperation. Lovely to see the bills sold out.
After the announcement of the Official Partnership with OpenLeverage. We pulled of several activities to make sure that people know where to long $HOTCROSS and Lend them to earn.

Some major announcements/highlights

There are moments when we are proud of the amount of work we have done, and the goals we have reached. It feels great to document all the major milestones here.

$HOTCROSS token has exceeded 1M+ transactions on #BSC @BNBCHAIN, showing the real utility since the launch in May 2021. We can't wait to see more on-chain transactions in the years to come.

And meanwhile, nearly 20 million $HOTCROSS were accumulated through the 17% entry fee for swapping $HOTDOG. Making sustainable revenue for marketing events and ecosystem development a reality. Thank you all for loving $HOTDOG so much.

Hot Cross was nominated by the #SWPR community for the chance to be swept using PixelSweeper revenue. Great to be recognized by another community, yay!

All the efforts surely pay off, just very recently, Coinbase Custody announced its support for the $HOTCROSS token. Making it more accessible to users worldwide.

Thank you for reading this recap, we have so much to share and note down over a long time. It's quite nice to occasionally look back and regain some strength from the past, reminding us of how strong we can be.

Hot Cross celebrated its 1st birthday during the period. And we are sure there will be more.
