Yesterday we rolled out the game plan for launching the new Hot Cross application portal. That is now live at app.hotcross.com—which includes a unified UI to access our DApps—and you are able to KYC yourself into this month’s IHO, all future IHO’s, or any launchpad that we ever do, regardless of which blockchain it’s launched out on.
The one-time fee to register is 0.0625 BNB which covers admin, backend, support, 3rd-party assistance, and maintenance costs. There are no token holding requirements to join a Hot Cross IHO. There are no tier levels. There are no barriers other than paying for access once and enjoying the products that require compliance.
No Platform Holding Requirements
Many IDO-style and launchpad platforms force users to hold unreasonable amounts of tokens to participate in events like IHO’s. We don’t like that. We would prefer to lower the barrier of entry into our events but also stay compliant, safe, and sustainable. There are a number of ways to do this but one of the ways we like most is by simply taking a one-time fee that lasts forever. This is similar to the PancakeSwap model. Where they require 1.5 CAKE to participate in an IFO via profiles, we ask that users pay an admin fee (outlined above) of 0.0625 BNB to access our IHO’s and anything else that relates to compliance. Pretty simple and easy.
No Tiers
There are no tiers in anything that we launch. That’s also something we find to be unreasonable. Small token holders and large token holders are pretty much the same in that they wish to gain unfettered access to new ideas without any question marks as to whether or not an opportunity is secured. With IHO’s or anything else (Cross Pad, etc.) requiring compliance, you just need to KYC once and you’re done. Come and go as you wish. Synaps will assist us with KYC processing.
Privacy
The only information that we ever have is a wallet address and an email address.
We need an email address to email you instructions once you have paid your fee. Synaps also needs this to process your KYC.
We need your wallet address to whitelist this once you have passed KYC.
We never have access to information that is personal to you, for example, your name, your passport details, or any of this. That is totally outside the scope of the information that we collect about you and we do not wish to have this information.
What’s Public & Private Information?
We have a public-facing repository on GitHub that contains wallet addresses and their KYC status’. This is manually updated. No other information is public. When you submit an email address to Hot Cross, it is in 100% encrypted format and it is not possible to decrypt this information by anyone but Hot Cross. Here is how that works:

⏰ Before every IHO begins there are cutoff dates to whitelist for the upcoming IHO. We must have whitelisted participants set up properly in our access portal so that you are able to access everything related to IHO’s and launchpads so the sooner you begin, the better.
